Brian Cripe, M.D. of Plastic Surgeons of Northern Arizona

Plastic Surgeons of Northern Arizona is pleased to announce that Brian Cripe, M.D., an award-winning plastic and reconstructive surgeon, will take over the Sedona clinic previously led by Jack Quigley, M.D., who has been a distinguished plastic surgeon in the region for over 30 years.

Cripe will begin offering patient consultations and procedures every Friday in Sedona starting in October 2024, continuing Quigley’s legacy of exceptional care.

“We are honored to have Dr. Cripe continue the outstanding work that Dr. Quigley has provided to the Sedona community for decades,” said Stephen Lex, M.D., co-founder of Plastic Surgeons of Northern Arizona. “We’re proud to share Dr. Cripe’s surgical skill, patient-centered approach, and commitment to advancing the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery with our patients in Sedona.”

Cripe brings extensive expertise in cosmetic surgery, limb salvage, peripheral nerve microsurgery, hand surgery, and oncologic reconstructive procedures. During his nine-year career, he has performed over 6,000 surgical cases. He received his medical education at the University of Queensland and Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, followed by a six-year plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Virginia Tech Carilion. He has authored several scientific articles and textbook chapters and has presented his research at leading national plastic surgery conferences.

Cripe, who earned bachelor’s degrees in zoology and journalism from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in marine biology from the University of Miami, is passionate about his work.

“Plastic surgery offers a unique opportunity to address both functional and aesthetic concerns, which drew me to the field,” he said. “I look forward to continuing the high standard of care Dr. Quigley has provided for many years.”

Outside of his surgical career, Cripe is a dedicated multi-sport endurance athlete, enjoying activities like mountain biking, triathlons, rock climbing, and trail running. He’s also an accomplished photographer, having worked on National Geographic projects and led international expeditions.

Cripe is now booking in-office procedures and cosmetic, hand, and reconstructive surgery consultations at Plastic Surgeons of Northern Arizona’s office in Sedona, located at 95 Soldier Pass Rd C-2, every Friday.
