Hydrafacial benefits:
What to Expect
Hydrafacial’s unique vortex technology helps to remove impurities, dirt, and dead skin cells from deep within the pores, leaving the skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated. The treatment uses a gentle acid peel to exfoliate the skin without causing any irritation, which helps to brighten the complexion and even out skin tone.
The treatment can also help reduce hyperpigmentation, including age spots, sun damage, and discoloration. Patients with acne or oily skin may also benefit from Hydrafacial treatments, which remove excess oil and can unclog pores.
The Hydrafacial procedure is designed to improve the appearance and health of the skin by removing impurities, hydrating and nourishing the skin, and addressing specific skin concerns on an individualized basis. Before the procedure, you’ll meet with one of our highly experienced aestheticians to discuss your skin treatment goals.
During your Hydrafacial, your aesthetician will apply a blend of moisturizing serums to the skin, helping to hydrate and nourish the skin, leaving it feeling soft and supple. The procedure usually takes 30 to 60 minutes and involves the following steps:
- Cleansing: The first step is to thoroughly cleanse the skin, removing any makeup or debris that may be on the surface.
- Acid Peel: Next, a mixture of gentle acids is applied to the skin. This helps to remove dead skin cells and prepare the skin for the extraction process.
- Extraction: A vacuum-like device called a HydraPeel Tip is used to extract impurities from the skin, including blackheads, whiteheads, and other debris that may be clogging pores. The device simultaneously infuses the skin with a solution of water, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acid to soothe and hydrate the skin.
- Serum Infusion: Once the skin is thoroughly cleansed and extracted, a serum containing antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid is applied to the skin. The serum is customized to the patient’s specific skin concerns and helps nourish and protect the skin.
