ABDOMINOPLASTY (TUMMY TUCK) 
Abdominoplasty, better known as a tummy tuck, is a way to tighten the abdominal muscles and remove excess, saggy skin. Often following pregnancy or substantial weight loss, one may find they can’t quite lose the extra fat or skin in the abdominal area. BRACHIOPLASTY (ARM TIGHTENING) 
Brachioplasty involves removal of the extra fat and saggy skin that may hang off the back of the arm to create a “chicken” or “bat” wing appearance. “BUTTOCKS LIFT” 
Buttocks lift, therwise known as fat grafting, is a technique that uses your body’s own extra fat to fill in areas that you may feel are deficient. LIPOSUCTION 
Liposuction is the suction removal of fat from areas of the body that are resistant to diet and exercise. It is not a weight loss technique, and is best suited to patients of normal weight with resistant pockets of fat that are out of proportion to the rest of their figure. The risks of liposuction are minimal, and through post recovery healing varies greatly by patient, you can expect some swelling and bruising in the first 48 hours. You will likely be required to wear a support garment over the treated area, and bending over, straining and lifting should be avoided for the first few days post surgery. In general, you can expect to return to most normal activities within 10 days. A “Mommy Makeover” addresses the breasts and abdomen, two areas many women feel are negatively impacted by birth and subsequent breast feeding. SPIDER VEIN TREATMENT
Spider veins are small clusters of unsightly red, blue or purple veins that appear on the thighs, calves, and ankles of women, often causing them to avoid showing their legs. A common cosmetic concern, it is estimated that nearly half of the female population, as well as many men, suffer from spider veins.
A number of factors contribute to the development of spider veins including heredity, pregnancy, hormonal shifts, weight gain, and prolonged sitting or standing. Luckily, spider veins are easily treatable with sclerotherapy, an injection of a sclerosing solution into the veins, which causes them to collapse and become less visible.
At Plastic Surgeons of Northern Arizona, sclerotherapy is performed as an outpatient procedure in our offices, and treatment takes anywhere from between fifteen to forty-five minutes. There is little to no down time, and patients can usually resume their normal activities immediately following treatment.
